Clayton Hotel - Russian Roulette.

Rules    : Phils own rules.
Players : Jeremy, Mark.
Umpire  : Phil.

AAR by Phil.

This was a 1941 WW2 game run by the UWS at the N Ireland model competition at the Clayton hotel.

The game was run by Phil with Jeremy playing the Russian’s and Mark playing the German’s a close run game which ended in a draw.

The game was a great success and attracted a good deal of interest hopefully we will get a few new members.

The German’s set up an 88 to stop the Russian advance on the village

Good shooting by the Russian armour made short work off the German tanks advance south of the village.

The Russian infantry also made good progress to the north of the village. Jeremy used the trees to cover the advance

The armoured beast arrives but sadly for the Russians breaks down after one move don’t get a 1 Jeremy!

Can the Stuka stop the Russian advance?

The Russian AA gunner’s have the Stuka in their sights just able to make the plane miss with it’s bombs. The Stuka limps home with 18 points of damage

The German infantry take up defences in the village

More Stuka attack’s claim the first Russian tank

More German armour arrive just in time to just hold the game to a close draw.
