A game of TFL rules "Infamy, Infamy!" in 28mm
Players
Roman : Billy and Jeremy Nixon.
Germans : David Smylie and Chris Caves.
Umpire : Jeremy Dowd.
Infamy, Infamy! game between Early Imperial Romans and Germans.
The sleepy German village waiting for the Romans to bring some Pax Romana to it. For those not in the know, that usually entailed sending in the Legions and killing or enslaving most of the locals ( Ed ).
The Roman objective was to capture the village and the lovely Brunhilda the German objective was to prevent this.

The Roman Cavalry started off badly against some German slingers and also their Gallic allied cavalry didn’t do much better either.
The Legionaries got off to a slow start with their commanders card refusing to be drawn.
The Germans sensibly avoided the Legionaries until they caught up with a German Foederati unit which they broke in short order
The game ended as a draw however the Romans failed to take their objective in the time available.
Big thanks to all who took part ( Chris, Billy, Jeremy N ) especially Jeremy D who umpired / refereed the game.
